Overview   ..............................................................................................................

Given the theme of the Expo, “Better City, Better Life” the World Expo Pavilion Pakistan is inspired by the various cities and regions of Pakistan As much an event structure as it a representative of its country of origin, the pavilion has a complex intermingling of uses and materials. The space is organized as a three dimension weave, where inside and outside, exhibit and performance are intertwined. This creates intense moments of overlap and juxtaposition, where the visitor is engaged by all senses; smells, textures, and colors come together to create a vibrant expression of culture and place.
