In 2024, Studio Luz had the honor of being selected as an honoree for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year Awards in the Diversity and Inclusion category. Each year, these awards honor the top small businesses that stand out and contribute to their communities, and we were very proud to be recognized in this area that speaks to our company values.
In a video for the GBCC, Studio Luz Principal Hansy Better Barraza shared more about how we ensure that the community has a voice in every project, and how the values celebrated with this award are all essential to the ethos of Studio Luz. “Being awarded in the category of equity and inclusion meant a lot to me because it’s not something that we advertise, but it’s part of our ethos and the soul of our business,” she said.
