At Studio Luz, our mission is to amplify the diverse voices of the communities we serve. Across every project, from multi-family housing to urban design & community engagement initiatives, we’re committed to a collaborative process that centers local perspectives. Our latest video, produced by EmVision Productions, provides a glimpse into this ethos, showcasing our approach through the stories and insights of our friends and collaborators at the Madison Park Development Corporation. Join VP of Real Estate Intiya Ambrogi-Isaza and Project Manager Josh McLinden as they share their experiences partnering with us on the 639 Warren Street project.
Developed through this proactive engagement process, the 639 Warren Street project proposes bringing new, affordable housing options to 63 families. This development is ideally situated near a bustling commercial hub with easy access to public transit, including both bus routes and the commuter rail. Not only does it aim to provide affordable homes, but it also offers 2000 sq.ft. of space for local businesses and nonprofits, making it a vibrant new addition to the neighborhood.
Central to the development of the project was a rigorous community engagement program to build strong relationships, gather feedback from local residents, and ensure everyone understood the various aspects of the project. Our approach to community engagement is all about listening, responding, and acting with transparency. Learn more about the actionable steps that helped us successfully navigate the community engagement process for this project and many others here.
Recently, with Studio Luz’s support, Madison Park Development Corporation filed the official project overview, known as the Project Notification Form, or PNF. This document includes detailed plans, maps, and illustrations that help explain our choices and how the new design fits into the neighborhood.
